Published 13 minutes ago Christian Eriksen collapsed during Denmark's friendly against Ukraine but is now conscious, says the Danish Football Association. The 34-year-old was making his 151st international appearance when the game was stopped on 79 minutes, before being abandoned. The former Manchester United and Tottenham midfielder suffered a cardiac arrest during a Euro 2020 match against Finland in 2021. He was then fitted with an Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD), which has allowed him to continue his career. More to follow.
