The EEOC is seeking to overturn rules created decades ago to tackle discrimination in employment. The Trump administration says those rules have led to more discrimination —against white people.

Its deeply troubling that the U.S. civil rights agency is dismantling tools designed to fight discrimination. Discrimination is a fundamental human rights issue that undermines the fabric of society. By taking away these tools, we risk allowing discrimination to flourish and perpetuate injustice. Its essential that we continue to protect and strengthen the institutions that are meant to uphold the rights of all individuals, regardless of their race, gender, or other protected characteristics.
