New York officials are expected to hold a news conference on the situation. Watch live in our video player above. The Fire Department of New York received a call shortly before 8 a.m. local time about falling bricks near 235 East 42nd Street in Manhattan, according to multiple outlets. The fire department said on social media that its officials are at the scene for a "major technical rescue response."
