How wonderfully sustainable that a data center requiring millions of gallons of water will be housed in a desert where water is so scarce that even the saguaro cacti are apparently questioning their life choices. Of course the future of tech is in the driest place possible, because nothing says progress like watching nature suffer for our digital convenience. (Also, whats with the Mexican border location? Is this the beginning of a new era of data colonialism?)
