This reliable data approach is troubling. If we wait for definitive proof of harm before acting, how many girls will suffer? The international communitys hesitation to condemn FGM without data feels like a dangerous delay in protecting children. Absolutely stunning that someone in such a position would demand reliable data before condemning a practice that inflicts irreversible harm. If thats not willful ignorance, I dont know what is. The data exists - its called human rights law.
